Life Is Uncertain, But Death Is

If my grandma could send me an sms, she would tell me: “Yo, move on already, will ya?”

I’ll probably reply her: “Chill maemae, wassup with that? You left a year plus ago. Give me more time yo! I’ll continue waiting to the day I can see you again.”

lol!~
- - -

Have you ever thought that, if one day you leave the world, either suddenly or it is THAT time already, what will your love ones react? (*Notes: Only LOVE ones)

If I die today, I know my love ones will be distraught and sad. But I don’t want them to be sad, or shed any tears for my departure. I only left for good.

But if my mom dies today, I don’t know what my life will turn out to be. I might … I don’t know. In my life, all I ever scared so much is grandma and mom leaving me. (Besides this, I’m also afraid of snakes. I hate them!) Now that grandma has left to the other side, back to her mom and dad, I don’t want my mom to leave me too. But someday, we will two worlds apart eventually.

I can only hope that they will wait for me. But like Eric Clapton sings: “Would you know my name, if I saw you in heaven? Would you be the same, if I saw you heaven?” And Kavana asking: “They will never bring you home to me, so will you wait for me in heaven?

If my grandma were a big fan of RJA, she would sing me this:

But if I should fall [don't wait]
Then you should move on [don't wait]
I will always watch out for you from up above.
Now don't take this wrong [don't wait]
But you should move on [don't wait]
I will always watch over you from up above.

I love you maemae.
I miss those days that we could joke around about everything from boys to lice.

Her Shadow

I keep looking and staring
At the place that you used to be
But you were not there standing
At the place that you were supposed to be

The shadow of yours
Is the only thing that is left for me

420 days since you left

Happy Teachers' Day [2]

Watch this vid!~

If you remember my last post, Happy Teachers' Day... Well, we were DUPED!! According to "Introducing Lyn's Lakorn Blog", it was a hoax viral internet video to promote Burger King's "Angry Whopper" burger. lol!~ Genius!

But still, the incident in the previous vid does happen in real life. It DID happen in my secondary school. But I wasn't there to witness it. Too bad. Here's what my friends comment on my FB. OY!

Happy Teachers' Day

I was reading a blog, "Introducing Lyn's Lakorn Blog", when I came across a blog entry by her, about a lecturer.

What do you think?

I think that dude totally deserved it. Some comments on YouTube commented that the lecturer went overboard. But kiddo, you pushed the wrong button on the wrong day with the wrong person. Another comment said the teacher couldn't control the class, hence it was her fault. My-holy-fucker-hookers-fuck-for-virginity!!! I'm speechless on that comment.

I am a teacher, and I have low tolerance with ill-mannered kiddos, so I have high tendency resorting to this kind of violence. Go back to your parents and beg them to teach you some manners before you try to socialize with other human beings.

Whether the vid is staged or real, kids like this need to be whipped olskool style. OY!

Plastic

Went bowling with bunch of Form 6 friends today. It was fun. Then I FFK the yam-cha session with them. Just cause. Saja. *Boo*

<<<<>>>>

I watched a tutorial on YouTube on the other day. It's a tutorial on fake nails. It looks nice on her, so I decided to buy a set for me.

Went to Hot Market after the bowling session. Whoasaa!~ RM10 per box. I didn't know it was that expensive. Searched around and found one with RM3.50 price tag. Grabbed it, paid, went home.

It came with 11 pieces of nails (11? for those who have supernumerary fingers I guess) and a glue.

Very easy to use. Just arrange the fake ones according to your nails sizes. Glue. Stick. Done!

The results? Very fake. But I love it. Coz I'm a faker. OY!

Good?

OK?

??

Grrr!

I'm gonna catch youuuu!!

BKK

Went to Bangkok with my best friend, Fion, and her friends. All together five persons. One person extra. Abo, can take taxi to any places with cheaper sharing fare.

Well, have to admit that this trip wasn't as enjoyable as I previously experienced. In fact, it didn't feel like going to Bangkok at all. May be because the trip was too short, only 3D2N, and the area was full with Singaporeans, Malaysians and Indonesians.

I boarded Air Asia from Hatyai alone and would be meeting Fion and the gangs at the Suvarnabhumi Airport (สุวรรณภูมิ). They reached earlier so they waited for me. We promised to meet at the Information Counter(IC) as from the website, there is only one IC on Level 2. But heck no, there are more than one. Shit. I asked a lady working there where was the IC. And between giving me her you-owed-me-one-million-dollar-face and the cant-you-read-the-freaking-sign-board-face, she said that is the IC. And I asked again is there other IC on this level. She gave me the damn-you-why-are-you-asking-me-so-many-questions-face, she told me yes. I was about to ask her where are the other IC and saw her I-havent-reached-orgasm-in-gazillion-years-face, I gave up asking. Fuck her. Land of smiles, my ass. Thank Zeus for phone roaming, Fion called me and we met at the 3rd Entrance.

From there, we took the MPV taxi, which cost us 700 baht. If there was only 4 of us, we could have save a lot. Anyway, screw that. So, camwhoring started. In the taxi. Did I tell you how much I hate cam-whores and cam-whoring? I tell you now. I HATE IT VERY MUCH!! Like FREAKING HATE IT!

Ok, here are the taxi-cam-whored-pictures-because-we-dont-have-taxi-in-Malaysia-and-some-say-Singapore

Reaching the hotel, of course we checked-in. Those bellboys were so tiny. They looked like my students and underage. Okay, skip that. The hotel we stayed was Baiyoke Boutique Hotel. Fion booked it thru Agoda.com, which guaranteed low price. Our room was RM85 per night for two single-beds. The hotel was good, no cockroaches, rats, dead man, Freddy Krueger look-a-like, and the bathroom was clean. But some taxi driver didn't know where it is. Just tell them it is behind Baiyoke Sky which is Thailand tallest building. It is not that tall BTW.

The first place we went was Platinum Fashion Mall which is very near to the hotel. The bellboy took us on a I-am-not-a-golf-cart-I-am-slightly-bigger so we didn't have to walk much. And guess what? CAM-WHORES ALERT!!

Along the way to Platinum Fashion Mall, there was street full with small traders. And people. So so crowded. After went thru that throng of breathing humans (SARS, H1N1), we reached Platinum. At there, nothing to describe, just shop shop and shop. Not very cheap actually, if you earn Malaysian Ringgit. One thing have to be careful beside your wallets and your heads, always double check the things you bought. Not the quality, but the quantity and the colours and the size. I get three bikinis, instead of four. But their bikinis damn cheap. I would suggest that you replace the padding they gave with a better quality ones tho. Just a thought. Most of the sellers there damn arrogant. Land of smiles, my ass times two. We were there until near closing. Fion and I went into mostly every shops. *hands down* *clap clap*

The next day, we went to JJ. JJ is easily reached by BTS. Been there several times. So, we decided, no, I decided, that we should take BTS. From the hotel website, it stated that it only takes 10 minutes walk to BTS Sky Train at Chidlom Station and Phayathai Station. Yeah right. May be there is a shortcut that i don't know of. That route was freaking far. I knew because Fion and I went jalan-jalan to that area the night before (yeah, we saw the Central World ruined-parts caused by the stupid-blood-coloured-shirt protestors). So, the hotel staff suggested that we took BTS at Ratchathewi Station which he said was "nearer". For the love of Venus, it wasn't that near but acceptable distance if you don't carry 5kg results-of-shopping-spree. BUT, I saw the apartment that they used to film Love Beyond Frontier (อุบัติรักข้ามขอบฟ้า). So it was kinda worth the walk. BTW, the fare was 30 baht per person. Should have taken the taxi if there were only four persons. And what else would you do while at the skytrain station. Yeah, you know the answer.

Angela and I

Reached JJ. It didn't change much. The last time I was there was five years ago. Fion and I were there until 7pm (Malaysia time). From 9am to 7pm. Geng!

The face of fuck-i-better-off-rotting-at-home-now

The third day, we went home.

See, told ya this trip was boring. Glad to be home. IN PIECE.

*snoring*

L.O.S.T

Few days back, I received sms'es to attend an interview. The position is Marketing Development Exec in Contronix Tech. Don't ask me what Contronix means. No idea.

This company is a Singaporean company. *Guess so*. It has an office at KL.

I rejected the invitation to go for the interview. There you go opportunity. Flaps your wings and flies away...

I guess, being a teacher, which happens to have lots of holidays, has turned me into a spoilt person. I didn't think twice and pushed my luck away. *Open the door and slam it on my face*

And now I regret. I have always wanted to work in marketing field for cheese sake. But then, I don't want to forgo the luxury of school holidays. *yummy* But I hate teaching students who wouldn't want to learn. Arrogant and no manners. Not all of them but most of them. That's enough to make my life a hell. May be if the opportunity comes during school days, I'd love to try my luck for the interview.

But working in KL? Whoa, that's too far from mom. Who will stay with her while I'm away? Guess I have made the right decision. Stay in this small little peaceful town and who knows, I might be able to strike a job as lecturer in UUM or UNIMAP or Matriculation. Now, where is my Master Degree application form...

The Waiting Game

Probably around this day a year ago that I called and told you that I would be back to Alor Star in 2 months time. Told you to wait for me. Silly me. Who would want to wait for me? You did, you waited. But not long enough. You should have waited for my arrival on early October, not in the middle of August! Silly me. Who would want to wait for me till the month of Oct. Probably Paul the Oct would, but not you.

I'm sorry I played the waiting game with you.

I should have returned home when mom told me you fell. I never knew it would be the thing that took you away from me. I thought you were strong. You never fell ill, you were always healthy. But you were 82. Silly me.

I read "Twenties Girl" by Sophie Kinsella and I cried. Because I related that story to you. Sadie was like you, always was in her twenties. Full of life. Never needed anyone help. Because you were a strong woman. A woman in her twenties who was strong and confident. Unlike me, 24 and weak. Silly me.

Here's a song to my dearest maemae and my friends, Ng Poh Ngoh and Tan Woan Yin.

"Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven
Will it be the same
If I saw you in heaven"

"Would you hold my hand
If I saw you in heaven
Would you help me stand
If I saw you in heaven"

"Beyond the door, there's peace I'm sure. And I know there'll be no more tears in heaven"
RIP.

Angels Cry

We said our last goodbye almost 10 months ago, but I still pretend that you are here by my side all the time. I imagine that you were outside my room trying to wake this big pig up at 11am on every weekends and holidays; imagine that you were watching lakorn with me every night. Fighting for remote control like we always did. Arguing just for fun. Teasing each other the way how we show our loves.

It rained cats and dogs today. It is still raining now while I’m typing this. You had always like rainy days. But you were afraid of thunder and lightning. How are you doing up there? Miss you always. Can’t wait to see you again.

P/S: I hate using Past Tense to describe you. You will always be alive in my heart.

Well it's hard to explain but I'll try if you let me
Well its hard to sustain
I'll cry if you let me
This doesn't change the way I feel about you or your place in my life
(please don't cry)
Can't you see I'm dying here?
A shot of broken heart that is chased with fear

Angels cry when stars collide
And I can't eat and I can't breathe
I wouldn't want it any other way

Intentions that were pure have turned obscure
Seconds into hours
Minutes into years
Don't ask me why
(please don't cry)
I cant tell you lies

Angels cry when stars collide
And I can't eat and I can't breathe
I wouldn't want it any other way.
[repeat]

My heart burns through
My chest to the floor
Tearing me silently although abruptly
Words cant hide as I'm taking you home
And I tried to see
Tried to understand your words as I'm taking you home

Angels cry when stars collide
And I can't eat and I can't breathe
I wouldn't want it any other way
[repeat]

Miss You

by Westlife

I don't wanna feel
The way that I do
I just wanna be
Right here with you
I don't wanna see
See us apart
I just wanna say it straight from my heart
I miss you...

I really do. Very much.
Good night my dearest MaeMae.

Love Story

I had a movie date with LX the Evil Banana before she went back to MMU. The movie we watched is Valentine’s Day starring big names like Julia Roberts, Jennifer Garner, Mr Demi Moore, Princess Mia, Jessica Alba, Jacob the Wolf and dot dot dot.

Overall I think the movie is OK, watchable, and most importantly didn’t make me taking nap in the cinema during the whole 2 hours movie.

The part that impressed me the most in the movie is the story about Kate Hazeltine, played by Julia Roberts. In the beginning of the movie, I always thought that she was going back to be with her old and ailing parent, but for sure not to the husband or boyfriend. At the end of the movie, well if you watched the movie, she took the 14 hours flight to go home for a day just to be with her son, Edison, played by Bryce Robinson.

This reminds me of a clip I watched long time ago on Thai TV channel, so I went YouTube’ng hoping to find it.

And I found it!! Here it is.

Tell me if you didn’t have teary eyes watching this clip.

Anything that is related to family, parents-children bonds stuff always leave a very great impact in my heart.

Why can’t people just end the war and bring home those kids’ parents?

FUCK WARS.

FUCK POLITICS.

Ok, screw that.

There’s another thing in the movie that I like. It’s the Morley Clarkson part. This part is played by Jessica Alba. I am totally in her shoes about the marriage thing. In the movie, Morley rejected Reed Bennent’s (Mr Demi Moore) proposal. She said yes at first, but changed her mind after that.

With the increasing of divorce rate and the number of problem kids nowadays, I wonder why people still wants to get married, waste time, waste money in doing it, and have kids later on, and divorce and leave their kids to struggle emotionally? Human are just weird.

FUCK MARRIAGE.

FUCK “FAMILY”.

(FAMILY is Father And Mother I Love You);

Notice that the “Father” and “Mother” is in singular form.

That’s all. Love Story.
